What we do

Our work in community managed disaster risk reduction.

  1. 01

Establish and train early warning committees on early warning information dissemination to mitigate the potential impacts of disasters.

  2. 02

Facilitate and conduct forums for the integration of indigenous early warning knowledge into conventional early warning systems.

  3. 03

Develop and update woreda DRR profiles and contingency plans, with associated responses to emergency conditions (crisis modifiers) for water trucking intervention.

  4. 04

Conduct assessments regularly and provide information to the respective stakeholders.
